Preparation for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada discussed with the authorities of Ufa

Ufa city administration held a business meeting of the working group for preparation for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada in 2021

On the 7th April the city administration of Ufa held a business meeting of the working group for preparation for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada in 2021 chaired by the head of the Ufa the urban district administration Sergei Grekov.

The meeting was attended by the executive chief of the Bashkortostan Folkloriada Office and the general director of the Republican Center of Folk Arts Artur Alibakov and the office’s team. The participants discussed subject regarding preparation for this major project.

“The VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada should have been held from July 18 to August 2020, but this grand festival of folklore and folk arts was postponed to July 3-10 2021. Today there is a participant list with 56 countries preparing for their participation, but the list can change”, said Artur Alibakov, presenting the logistics and the current program of the oncoming festival.

The meeting was a fruitful stage of the preparation process for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada.
