Karakalpak Govermental and Natıonal Ensamble named after «Aykulash»

Uzbekistan is a bright and rich land, where the sky is shiny and barely has clouds for over 300 days. The Republic of Uzbekistan is a spacious country in the Central Asia. The nature of Uzbekistan impresses with its diversity: it has rich vales with fruitful gardens, boundless cotton fields and multiple mountain streams, which run into mighty mouths of rivers Amu Darya and Syr Darya. It has lifeless deserts and snowcapped peaks. In ancient times there was the Great Silk Route, that is why Uzbekistan today is a treasury of landmarks and the land of many ancient cities.

Its culture has been shaping for ages and it differs from the other Eastern cultures with its extraordinary, authentic and bright character. It is a composition of different traditions of many peoples, living in this area.

At the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada this wonderful country will be represented by the Karakalpak Govermental and Natıonal Ensamble named after «Aykulash». The ensemble was founded in 1956 basing on the State Philharmonic. The «Aikulash» is a participant of many international contests and festivals all over the world.
