Mexico is one of the most amazing countries in the world. It is a state with an extensive history and traditions that go back centuries and are hidden in them. Mexico can rightly be considered as the cradle of ancient civilizations; it is the place of ancient Mayan and Aztec culture. The city of Mexico is one of the oldest cities in the whole North America. Here is one of the seven great wonders of the world – the Pyramid of Chichen Itza and the City of Gods – Teotihuacan. Mexico is a country of contrasts. Here ancient pyramids coexist with modern skyscrapers, paradise coast with the largest ring of volcanoes, and rich culture woven from the traditions of indigenous Indian tribes and Spanish colonists.

The richness and diversity of cultural traditions of this country at the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada will be presented by the“Vallarta Azteca” Folk Group. We have a unique opportunity to watch all the beauty of Mexican folk dances, which have absorbed contemporary and traditional dance rhythms passed down from generation to generation.
