Preparation for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada was discussed online

On 12 March, 2021 there was held an online business meeting on preparation for the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada chaired by the Prime-Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.

The meeting covered the questions regarding preparation and holding of this CIOFF® folklore festival. Also, the meeting determined powers and authorities of state bodies, preparing for the festival, discussed a row of organizing tasks and decided to establish a new Folkloriada Office under the charge of the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republican Center of Folk Arts. The Minister of culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova was appointed as a director of the Bashkortostan Folkloriada Office.

The VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada will be held in Ufa on 3-10 July, 2021 in Ufa and municipalities of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
