A postal envelope and a special postmark dedicated to the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®️ were issued

The emblem of the international festival and the inscription “Republic of Bashkortostan. VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®️ Ufa, July 3-10, 2021 " depicted on the thematic envelope. The envelopes were issued on the initiative of the Office of the Federal Postal Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Joint-stock company «Russian Post», with an edition of 500,000. They bear a standard postage stamp corresponding to the tariff for shipping within Russia. The products have already arrived at the post offices.

Simultaneously with the envelope, a special postmark was also issued with a transfer date and the emblem of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®️. The new postmark will be officially introduced into the postal circulation immediately before the grand opening of the international festival in Ufa-Arena on July 3, 2021, where a special cancellation of the stamp will take place. Russian Post customers can put an imprint of a special stamp on outgoing shipments after the end of the event at the post office 450000 during its opening hours.

"The issue of an envelope and a stamp dedicated to Folkloriada will become a separate event in the 50-year history of international folklore festivals, which will emphasize the special role of Bashkortostan and Russia in their holding," said Irek Galimov, director of the Office of the Federal Postal Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
