A presentation of the traditional breast jewelry of a Bashkir woman - tushelderek was held within the framework of the VI CIOFF®️ World Folkloriada. The last coin was sewn into the national decoration at the closing ceremony of the festival. The memorial exhibit of the Folkloriada was transferred to the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

"The breast decoration with coins of the participating countries of the Folkloriada is a symbol of the unity very of peoples, at the same time an object of material cultural heritage. This was the idea of its creation. Among the Bashkirs, it has always been a symbol of unity and passed down from generation to generation. We remain true to the traditions of our people," said Amina Shafikova, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Today, Russia is the center of world folklore, embodies the unity of all the peoples of the globe. The first coin with the symbols of the Folkloriada was minted by Andrey Nazarov, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, at the ceremony of 100 days countdown launch before the Folkloriada. And at the closing ceremony, the Russian coin was sewn by Tamara Purtova, President of the National section of CIOFF®️ Russia, Director of the V.D. Polenov’s State Russian House of Folk Arts Tamara Purtova

The Bashkir breast decoration tushelderek (hakal, seltar, izeu) is decorated not only with jewelry, but also with coins from 37 countries of the world, which were brought by the participants of the Folkloriada.

The subject of national art was created by a folklorist, a specialist of the Republican Center of Folk Art Gulgina Baymurzina and a craftswoman Alfiya Akhtarieva.
