Shulgan-Tash Cave

One of the most unique objects is the Kapova Cave, which is located on the Belaya River, which flows through the expanses of the Shulgan-Tash National Reserve.

Throughout the world, the cave is known for the fact that in 1959, rock paintings of Paleolithic inhabitants were discovered on its vaults. The age of the drawings, and there are 173 of them in the cave, not counting the relic spots, is about 18 thousand years.

During the study of the unique archaeological site, anthropological remains of people who lived in the cave during the Bronze Age were discovered.
