Atysh Waterfall

Natural attractions of Bashkortostan continue the beautiful waterfall, the name of which is translated from the Bashkir language as"shot". The waterfall got its name from the fact that it seems to shoot out of a mountain grotto, piercing through it.

The beauty and grandeur of the place is added by the lake formed under the waterfall, the water in which is crystal clear. The lake is also fed by an underground river that comes to the surface nearby.

There are many caves around the unique water complex, and in ancient times there was a sanctuary where the gods were worshipped.
